Ergo was born in Monte Roberto, one of the Castelli di Jesi most suited for the production of wine within the classical area. A CRU resulting from a very careful selection of grapes grown organically. Late harvest, vinification in the cellar carried out with traditional methods and the long aging, part of which in AMPHORA, give life to a unique and original wine.

Production area: Castelli di Jesi.
Vine variety: Verdicchio in purity.
Soil: Yellow sandstone marl with a sandy consistency.
Upbringing system: Guyot.
Plants per hectare: about 4,500.
Yield per plant: about 2.2 kg.
Vinification: Traditional in the open air, use of indigenous yeasts, partial temperature control, fermentation and aging on its own yeasts, of which part in AMPHORA, for one year.
Alcohol degree: 14-15% vol. variable with the vintage.
Net dry extract: 25-27 gr/lt variable with the vintage.
Color: Straw yellow with golden reflections.
Bouquet: Intense and full, rich in tropical fruit with citrus lashes sweetened by hints of honey and dried fruit.
Taste: A full and soft sip but also fresh and savory that enchants for its balance.
Serving temperature: 12 ° -14 ° C.

Pairings
An ancient style Verdicchio perfect travel companion of traditional food: vincisgrassi, rabbit in porchetta, broth, lamb terrine.

Company
Since 2015 another company has entered our stable, it is the Mirizzi company, 5 hectares of vineyards and some centuries old olive trees, Rosciola variety. The vineyards and olive groves, conducted in organic farming, are located in the municipality of Monte Roberto at 300 meters above sea level, which for their great slope have obtained the official recognition of Heroic Viticulture from Cervim.
The land on which the vineyards are located are situated on a steeply sloping hill, with exposures ranging from east to west. The grapes are harvested when ripe and healthy, vinified in a very traditional way, in the historic Montecappone winery in Jesi.
